Photo Shoot

For Madison's first birthday we wanted to take some special pictures to commemorate the occasion.  When Austin turned one, we went to Kiddie Kandids.  Well, it turns out Mia (Austin's friend from daycare) neighbor, Katie has started her own photography business, so we packed up the kids and headed over.  The pictures that came back are amazing.

I've uploaded all of the pictures from our disk.  Katie wants to know which ones we want for prints and she'll do all of the touchup work.  She can also turn them to Sepia and Black and White if anyone is interested.

To see more of Katie's work, head to Katie.Torriente Photography or her blog here or here.  You might even recognize a few of the monsters on the pages.

Enjoy!

Madison and the Balloon

Who knew a toddler (I can't believe she's a toddler now) would have so much fun with a pink balloon!

The Cake

Katie picked up this cake at the store before we arrived.  It went perfectly with her purple diaper cover.  We never could get her to dig into it though.  So instead, we gave it to Austin and Mia for dessert after their photo shoot.

Austin and Madison

We managed to snap these about three seconds before Austin was done posing with Madison and just wanted to play with Mia and before Madison wanted her bottle (which is what she's looking at off camera).  If nothing else, MAN they have cute feet  :)

Who knew this monster could be so serious!  I have no idea when Katie took some of these.  I swear I was in the room and the child was hyped up on sugar the entire time.  He and Mia were giggling most of the time, so I'm not entirely sure where the pensive look snuck in.

Austin and Mia

Mia came with us and we couldn't resist getting a few pictures of the best buds.  Apart from tearing up the set (I'm really sorry Katie), I think they did a good job overall.

More Madison

Yes, the photo shoot included several changes of clothes.  If you could have seen the amount of luggage I took to Katie's.  Between Katie and Cassy (Mia's mom), they managed to get our little ones looking adorable.
