Aunt Michele's Visit

Brooke's sister spent a long weekend with us in April. Not only did we have fun playing with her, she was a huge help in the feeding, bathing, and advice arenas as well.

Austin loved all the cuddling and playing. I have no doubt he was spoiled for the weekend, but as Michele pointed out you can't spoil a 5wk old. Although, he now demands to be walked around the house while being fed......

Even Aunt Michele didn't get out of early-morning feedings. Lucky for us she was still on Eastern time, so she was happy to take those horrible 5am snacks.

Austin spent a lot of time smiling and giggling over the weekend. It was great to see our happy baby again!

Since Austin is still sleeping in the dining room (it's closer to us and we get to keep the spare bedroom that way), we had to get a little creative to get him to sleep. This is a look at his first fort. Notice how it went through several versions until we got it right.

Even Aunt Michele wasn't immune from bath time.

We were sad to see her go. Luckily, we'll get to visit again in July. Now....who can we convince to come out next I wonder?!

Week Six

Our little munchkin has hit the 6 week mark. I missed it by a few days, but no one is perfect, right?!

Puppy Pals

Austin has found a new friend to help him sleep.

New Swing

Beau's friends and colleagues from PWC gave Austin a swing as part of their baby gift. He absolutely loves it! When we first put him in it he was enthralled with the blue light. He sat there for just over an hour watching it light up. Then he got tired and passed out :)

Two Months

Aaaahhhh...what a cutie! We finally got the air-conditioning working (hence the fleece jammies). The little one is growing like a weed! Although it's exciting to watch him grow and learn, we both think the time is going way too fast.
